Know-how: ShapeArray installation kits and casing sizes explained

Measurand designs all ShapeArray models to be as simple to install as possible. ShapeArrays are also designed for a wide variety of applications and installation scenarios. However, certain ShapeArray models are designed for different installation orientations and sizes of casing. Specific installation orientations require specific casings and installation kits.

SAAV

SAAV has two unique installation kits—the casing cap and compression clamp—to accommodate a range of casing sizes.
Installation Type: Vertical
Casing Cap
70/85 mm casing

Compression Clamp
Non 70/85 mm casing (47–100 mm)

SAAF

SAAF has one unique installation kit—SAAF installation kit—for vertical and convergence installation in 27 mm PVC. Measurand recommends the horizontal installation kit for horizontal installation in 2” Schedule 80 PVC conduit.
