2019 wrap up: A look at the year’s highlights

As expected, 2019 was another eventful year for Measurand. From action-packed conferences to prestigious export awards, the last twelve months were a fast-paced, challenging, and fulfilling time, marked by meaningful successes and milestones.

Let’s look back at some of the year’s highlights, while we anticipate what’s to come in 2020: a fresh decade for Measurand and our valued clients.

Measure of Success: Measurand Wins Export Award

At this summer’s Export Awards in Saint John, New Brunswick, Measurand received the incredible distinction of Exporter of the Year—over $5 million. Chosen from a competitive pool of nominees, our company’s award was bestowed by a leading panel of business leaders and academics.

Transforming the Future: International Women in Engineering Day

On June 23, 2019, Measurand proudly celebrated International Women In Engineering Day. We marked the occasion by interviewing the exceptional women involved in our company’s day-to-day successes, who discussed the importance of women in this historically male-dominated field.

New trade agreements ‘a firm foundation’ for Atlantic Canadian technology to flourish

Back in February 2019, Minister of International Trade Diversification Jim Carr and Karen Ludwig, an MP for New Brunswick, took a guided site tour of Measurand. Minister Carr’s public appearances in Fredericton were scheduled to address how a pair of newly implemented trade agreements would benefit the region.
